My friend Waseem Daher recently started “Startup Real Talk,” the newsletter he wished existed when he started his first company.

Waseem is now on his third company — he started with Ksplice (acquired by Oracle), then built Zulip (acquired by Dropbox), and is now the co-founder and CEO of Pilot, which recently achieved unicorn status and runs the financial back office for other companies.
